Friday Night Lights

At first I thought that the feud between Midland and Permian was because of  football feud. I came to find out that it there was much more to it. Both towns were getting money for oil companies until there was a drought. One school was getting more money than the other so of course they got mad. This lead over to football games and the towns have been rivals ever since. I don’t see how they let something with business come between their kids and football. Everyone has a rival in every sport though so it’s only natural. Their rivalry just started with something not sport or school related.
