Friday Night Lights

My first reaction to this book was that it wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be. It had a long pre-face and prologue about the town of Odessa and school history of Permian. I guess my reaction was this way because the movie made it seem like it was centered around  Boobie Miles and what they had to overcome without him.
